Join us at the 5th annual Salt & Light Conference on September 23-24 in the Northeast suburbs of Charlotte for North Carolina’s Largest Faith-Based Policy Conference featuring your favorite faith and prominent community leaders from around our state and across the nation. The Conference will be located on the beautiful campus of Freedom House Church which is located just off I-1485 near Concord Mills Mall.
The North Carolina Faith & Freedom Coalition Salt & Light 2022 Conference welcomes leaders to the platform who are declaring the TRUTH of God’s Word to the cultural issues of the day. This year’s event brings those who are engaged on the front-lines of the cultural battle to educate, equip, and encourage attendees to stand up and become part of the cultural conversation, encouraging attendees to follow the biblical mandate of being Salt & Light.

How Do I Receive My Tickets
Your paper ticket is not necessary for entry into the conference. Our staff will have a list of all ticket holders at the Conference Registration Desk.
What Time Do the Doors Open on Friday?
The registration desk opens at 5:00 pm on Friday evening. Food Trucks will be onsite for dinner. The exhibit hall will be open and our coffee vendors will be onsite. The Doors to the auditorium will open at 5:30 pm.
What Time Do the Doors Open on Saturday?
The registration desk opens at 7:30 am on Saturday morning. Food Trucks will be available for breakfast. The exhibit hall will be open and our coffee vendors will be onsite. The Doors to the Auditorium will open at 8am.
Where Can I Stay In Charlotte?
Salt & Light Conference attendees are encouraged to join our speakers and staff at the brand new UNC Charlotte Marriott Hotel & Conference Center. Reserve your hotel room by using the NC Faith & Freedom Coalition room block. The hotel will serve as our host hotel for the conference. Discounted rates of $131 a night for King rooms or 2 Queen Beds are available through August 23, 2022. The hotel is 3-miles from Freedom House Church. You may book a room by calling Marriott reservations at 1-800-228-9290 or you may use the online reservation link. The hotel offers room service and a casual dining restaurant for breakfast and dinner. You are a short 4-minute walk from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and local restaurants; a 3-minute walk from a Lynx light rail station with connectivity to Uptown Charlotte; and a 6-minute to Shoppes at University Place with more local dining options.

Is Childcare Available at the Conference?
Is Food Available on Site?
The church coffee bar will be open throughout the conference. A variety of dinner options will be available at the Food Truck Corral. The Food Trucks be back offering Breakfast options on Saturday. Early-bird ticket holders and pre-registered conference attendees will receive a complimentary lunch voucher with their conference ticket. Additional vouchers will be available voucher at the conference for $12.50. During lunch, the food trucks will primarily be using lunch vouchers to help speed up the service lines during the lunch hour.
